Well preserved example of CBD with intact Parapet. Note the elegant recessed horizontal brick banding. Zig-zag cast stone plaques either side of the Entry and the brick coursing dive to vertical over the Entry are similar to those used as a signature by Samson Becker at 2266 Andrews Avenue, 2969 Valentine & 2253 University Avenue. This pairing can be seen at 2501 Davidson Avenue also by Becker so there is a high possibility that he was the architect here. Such has been the loss of Parapets in the last 20 - 25 years, any in such good condition that remain should automatically put the building in the SBL Category.
