The South & East facades have had the original Parapet removed (See original condition in B&W photos courtesy of the Collections of the Museum of there City of New York) but the North East facade retains the Cast Stone medallions at the parapet (minus (1), see photo update 02/28/2024) and the decorative brick at the Entrance set back. Samson Becker used the same cast stone pinnacle medallions in the parapet of 2253 University Avenue, now demolished. Something Pre-Columbian about the decorative motifs in the cast stone at the Entrance, the terrazzo floor and plaster crowns. The raised "Stoops" on curved black plinths have original aluminum railings.
