- At this mid-block Early Deco building, vertical brick ornament points the way to what was formerly a castellated zig-zag parapet, prior to its removal. The substantial plasterwork in the lobby resembles that at 985 Anderson Avenue and 2487 Davidson Avenue and the twin fireplaces (now covered) are reminiscent of the one at 985 Anderson (is there a twin fireplace there, covered by the mailboxes?) and perfectly match the one at 2487 Davidson. It's possible that all three 1931 buildings are by Charles Kreymborg.
