- The aspirational corbeled brick at the parapet corners is a good example of the "over the top" tendency in Deco that Anthony Robins has observed in his excellent book 'New York Art Deco'. S&D missed this one but got all the rest on this stretch of Morris Avenue where most of the original parapets have been removed. With light grey brick and all original facade & parapet, 1860 stands out amongst them. If the RE websites are accurate, 1931 puts it with Noonan Plaza as one of the earliest occurrences of the corner window. The Lobby appears to have been completely renovated as it shows few traces of ED decoration.
