Shorn of its elaborate Parapet decoration (zoom into the NYC Tax photo from 1940) there is barely any Deco here apart from the Cast Stone Entrance. The exterior is mostly plain brick with a couple of protruding semi-circular Spandrels at the 2nd & 6th floors and the mysterious vertical bands at the corners from the 5th floor to the Parapet. But look inside the marvelous Lobby with its two Fake Fireplaces and you will be in no doubt that it belongs in BADAHA. New outer Entrance doors have a nice Deco-ish pattern.
